Japan in autumn, and no single season for Asia
Tokyo Haneda airport aerial view, Menkor media library.
Japan’s autumn colour is a real season, with a direction of travel. The Japan National Tourism Organization says the leaves run from late September through to early December. It calls November the best month to see them in most of the country. Colour starts in the north, in Hokkaido, and works south. The habit of going out to look has its own name, momijigari: not a hunt in the sporting sense, a trip made in order to see the maples and the ginkgo. That is enough to shape a private jet charter. You follow the colour, you do not tick off a continent.
What this page will not do is invent a monsoon calendar for the rest of Asia. South Asia, Southeast Asia and East Asia do not share one dry season. A week of autumn leaves in Japan and a coast trip after regional rains are different briefs. Menkor will plan against the forecast for the places you name. It will not plan against a single “Asia season”, because that season does not exist. If your seasonal destination is Kyoto in November, say Kyoto in November. If it is somewhere still in its rains, say that too, and the aircraft conversation starts from the real week.
Cities, temples, and the same aircraft
A leaf journey is rarely one airfield and a hotel. It is often a city, then a quieter place further north or south, then a return that has to fit a meeting you did not want to miss. Some of these trips are also business trips with a few days added. Private jet hire for a business journey is the page for that mix, when the calendar is a working one and the autumn days are the reason you refused a commercial connection.
Distance decides the cabin before taste does. A party already in the region may be well served by a medium aircraft between stops. Menkor arranges medium jet hire for that kind of private jet charter. A longer arrival, from Europe or elsewhere, belongs with long-range private jet hire. One aircraft people ask about by name is the Gulfstream G550. Naming it here is not a performance claim. This article does not repeat speeds, range or seat counts. It is one long-range option on the table, to be kept or dropped once the route is known.
Families do this trip as well. The pace of momijigari, the early mornings, and the amount of walking are easier when the flight itself is not a queue. The notes on flying with family and children cover the cabin side of that. A luxury private jet is not required for every leaf photograph. It is required when the party, the bags, and the number of stops stop fitting a simpler plan.
Leave the dates loose on purpose
JNTO’s window is wide because the colour moves. A charter locked to a single famous temple on a single afternoon is a good way to miss the week. Put two or three places in the brief, in the order the colour usually travels, and leave one day that can slide. Private jet hire is useful here because the departure is not a published wave. It is still not a promise that a mountain will be red on a Tuesday. Weather and the trees decide that. The aircraft only decides whether you can be there without spending the day in a terminal.
The part you should not have to run
Menkor arranges the charter. It does not operate the flight as an airline. You give the cities or regions, the people, and which day is fixed by a meeting or a family event. The aircraft is matched to the route. Ground handling is coordinated so the arrivals are quiet handovers. The timing stays flexible when the colour, or a forecast, says the next stop should wait a day. You are there for the seasonal destination. You should not be the one calling the handler.
