Falcon 10X: The Private Jet that Revolutionizes Business Aviation

Falcon 10X, Dassault Revolutionizes Business Aviation

Just few months after unveiling the Falcon 6X, Dassault Aviation launched the mighty Falcon 10X, which will be the direct competitor to the newest large cabin jets from Gulfstream and Bombardier, the G700 and Global 7500.

Just like the falcon 6X unveiling, Dassault went live on Youtube, broadcasting from their hangar at Le Bourget, on May 6, to roll-out their new business jet.
The premiere, which lasted about 30 minutes, brought together more than 5000 people around the world : employees, partners, customers, press and aviation enthusiasts.

Overview, Range and Power

Presented as the new leader in the high end of the large business category, the Falcon 10X is capable of traveling 13,900 km ( 7500 nm) at Mach .85. it will be able to connect non-stop the largest capitals on the planet, such as Paris to Santiago, Hong Kong to New York, Los Angeles to Sydney or New York to Shanghai.
With a top speed of Mach .925, the Falcon 10X is ranking in the top 5 of the fastest private jets.

The Falcon 10X will be powered by business aviation’s most advanced and efficient engine, the Rolls-Royce Pearl® 10X. It is the latest, largest and most powerful version in the Pearl series delivering more than 18,000 pounds of thrust. It gives the 10X the power to leap off runways and climb swiftly above air traffic and turbulence. And it burns much cleaner for more efficient operation and lower emissions.

Dimensions

The Falcon 10X features impressive dimensions and is 33.4 meters long, has a wing span of 33.6 meters.
Its maximum takeoff weight is 52,163 KG.

Mission flexibility

Despite being one of the largest business jets, the falcon 10X can still access typical airports serving business aviation, even those with challenging approaches.
For example, the falcon 10X will be certified to land in London City, the heart of global finance.

This is achieved thanks to Dassault Know-How in manufacturing precision and quality, structural robustness, and an unbeatable combination of high-speed and low-speed performance, mastered for years on the immensely strong Rafale fighter wings.

Cabin, comfort, space and expanding style

The Falcon 10X with a cabin width of 2.77 meters (9 ft 1 in) and a height of 2.03 meters ( 6 ft 8 in), will allow the passengers to move around the biggest and most comfortable cabin on the market. This cabin offers 78.7 m3 of volume, against 73.71 m3 for Gulfstream’s competitor G700. The baggage compartment is the largest in its class and is conveniently accessible in flight. Fitted with 38 windows, which are the largest in the Falcon family, the falcon 10X provides better light distribution throughout the cabin, with panoramic views.

An other advantage the falcon 10X will have over the competition is the cabin pressurization. In fact, passengers will enjoy a 3,000-foot cabin pressure altitude while flying at 41,000 feet. This feature, combined with the unique Falcon environment system, will greatly help reducing fatigue.

Technology at the service of safety !

The state-of-the-art systems found in the Falcon 10X trace their origin to Dassault’s legendary fighter aircraft.

Falcon Digital Flight Control Technology is now more capable than ever for precise, smooth flight handling. On the new, pilot-friendly flight deck, industry-leading, automated protections exponentially increase safety and confidence.
And the FalconEye Combined Vision System overcomes even the worst weather by vastly enhancing situational awareness.

The flight deck will be equipped with the most capable avionics in business aviation.

Provided by Honeywell Aerospace, the next-generation of their Epic flight deck, the Falcon 10X will be every pilot’s dreams aircraft.

For example, On long missions (which on the 10X can exceed 15 hours) the flight deck is large enough for pilot seats to fully berth. This unique and innovative provision anticipates regulatory allowance for duty time credits in two-pilot operations. One pilot would then be able to rest, while a Crew Monitoring System ensures the pilot flying stays alert.

Available for $75 million in 2025

Dassault Aviation announced that the Falcon 10X will be available in 2025.
